No, I’m going to try the dungeons.”

Blinking at the vehemence in Mkichaa’s voice, Genny just nodded in response.  Luckilly, Jez seemed to posses the most tact in this situation and offered a perfectly reasonable option.  Then Jez went and proved herself to be beyond reasonable, wonderful even.

Got a tent in there you can use. Pretty basic, but there's a camp bed, shower, the usual. I'll be using a sleeping bag until the wards have been tried."

“A shower!”  Genny echoed excitedly, before she could stop herself.  Then she blushed and attempted to belatedly edit that, “I mean, a shower would be wonderful, if you don’t mind.  I really should try and get this stuff out of my hair, and it should help with the smell.”  As she reminded herself of it, the smell seemed to come flooding back to her senses and she wrinkled her nose.  Unfortunately, that also signaled the end of her appetite, so she pushed her plate away.  Looking back up to Jez she smiled again, hoping to impress that she was grateful for her offer.  “I couldn’t take the bed, though, even if you don’t intend to use it tonight.”

She wasn’t just uttering pleasantries.  As much as she wanted to trust everyone here, enough had happened today that she wouldn’t feel any more comfortable knowing a stranger was outside of the tent than she suspected Jez would.
