"Probably was always like that. Surely it couldn't bother taking time to learn how to be that annoying."

Amused, Jez sank to one of the chairs by the table, perching on the edge in case Something wandered in. The Hat probably had been annoying when it was create, but Jez imagined that the intervening centuries had given it a really good opportunity to refine its skills of botherment.

"So that dead Typhon outside. You did that?"

Mkichaa seemed to have focused on her now, and without knowing the reason for it, Jez considered her reply carefully for a moment. "Well... yeah," she said, uncertain as to how this would be received. "Lucky I've been to Greece, or I might have been buggered. And set fire to the Hat in vengeance." It was customary to take the valuable bits of creatures back to SWORD for sale, but as she was here solo, she wasn't about to start lugging around bits of dead monsters, no matter how expensive or rare they were.
