When she was younger, Shea would have said something. She'd have pointed out that Jinny had sat down and immediately lumped her into the party of people who were going to save Hogwarts, even after Shea made an effort to separate herself from the group. That she never said that it was childish, only that they weren't kids and couldn't reasonably expect something like what they used to do to happen again here. That in those days there were adults who handled taking the evil things away and made sure they stayed away in a long bureaucratic process or a tedious set of spells and paperwork. That now they were the adults that had to think ahead and be ready to deal with all of that.

She might have pointed out that trying to make Shea into the enemy in order to make her feel guilty wasn't going to work anymore. She had enough guilt to survive lifetimes. Maybe she would have mentioned that yes, her optimism was childish right now because it wasn't tempered with the knowledge that there was so much planning to be done before the work even began. That Jannery was listening to the whims of an old hat that was giving her these ideas that she could save things and be a hero when there was no end goal to strive for. That save the school meant nothing when it hadn't been a school in a decade.

That she still had yet to give Shea a reason.

Instead, Shea sat calmly as Jemmery spoke, her dipping into anger though she kept her volume in check. She did nothing to stop her, not even when she got up to leave. Once she was gone, Oscar gave her a look behind the bar and Shea offered him a smile and a shrug. She didn't move for a long moment, instead watching the rest of the Hog's Head for the faces who might have been watching. None were paying attention, mercifully, and despite the unconventional meeting, Shea could continue to blend into the background here.

Well, one dark wizard hunter out of her way, at least. Just the rest of the Hog's Head clientelle and the rest of Hogsmeade to worry about.

Shea got up and made her way down the street to Zonko's and whatever it was that they wanted her to do there, but something else nagged at her. There was something else that brought her here that didn't draw her back to Canada in the same way, though she had spent much longer at that school. In the back of her mind, she was looking for something here that she had yet to find. There was some piece of her past left behind here that she couldn't quite remember. Shea didn't know if it was going to be enough of a thing that it would keep her from leaving a place that was obviously not safe for her. It wasn't like she left a limb in her dorm or...

Oh. Right. Well, there was something that might keep her here a little longer.
