Mercifully, her meal arrived just as Junniquy decided to yell at Oscar behind the bar for coffee. Shea tried to signal to him that she was sorry for her behaviour, but he waved her off. Shea could only hope that meant it was fine or that he saw her come in and join Shea unbidden rather than a promise that he was going to take it out on her later. The girl that dropped her food off took a look at Jungy and left herself.

She pulled the plate close and cut into the eggs, fork in hand and ready to whack anyone who might try to take anything off her plate. So far, Janky had shown that she had no sense of manners and Shea was fairly certain she would try to take something. Given Shea's limited budget for the moment, she wasn't willing to share. Even if the food wasn't the best, it was cheaper than most of her alternatives in town, and she was probably going to be skipping lunch.

As she listened, Shea wondered if she should have bothered resetting her age at all. While she now looked about the right age, she felt much older than the girl across from her - and she was a girl more than a woman from how she spoke. While Shea could remember Jersidity being more careful with her words when she was younger, that filter was completely gone now, as well as any sense of other people. She wondered if those old names she struggled to put faces to, Gabryal and Mkichaa, had actually agreed to anything or if she had talked so quickly around them that she had tricked them. Or they pitied her and were able to take time off of their lives. Or maybe they agreed willingly. She had no idea and it was none of her business.

Shea waited until she was done speaking and opted to not mention Jakily's immaturity. It would be rude and she would likely turn it around somehow to make it a fault of Shea's to try and further guilt her into joining her on this quest. Instead, she leaned over her plate and swallowed her food, putting the knife down so she had a free hand to gesture with.

"A few things," Shea said. "First, I have work. I am working three jobs, so I don't have time. Second, you seem to be asking me to go in and help you murder a bunch of monsters who have been living there for longer than I even attended the school. No. Third, I've been living among the Muggles for a while now. I haven't even touched my wand in about a year and a half. Unless you need a smartphone unlocked, I am of zero use to you."

Shea sat back and went back to her food. She wasn't sure if it was the Sorting Hat or Jahssey who was trying to recruit her, but she wasn't having any part of it. One week. She'd stop somewhere on the way and replenish her funds somewhere were someone wasn't trying to extend the hand of destiny again.
