Mkichaa landed a little harder than she hoped. That blasted fog had been a lot thicker than she assumed and consequently she'd been close to crashing, which would've been embarrassing. Thankfully the fog had lifted enough and her landing, though shaky was still okay. Both feet firmly on the ground and her broom in hand, she looked out towards her former school. So. This was Hogwarts now, 10 years on. Surprisingly it was still standing, well a lot more of it than she'd thought was still standing.

She sighed as she looked at it, wondering just what information was worth salvaging in the heap of rock. This had better not be a waste of her....she immediately stopped in her tracks as her foot hit something solid, which wasn't made of rock. Risking a glance down, she saw that she'd kicked a head. Not only a head though. No it most certainly wasn't, she thought to herself with a wry grin. Taking in the white hair and the fangs, it was a Typhon. Nice. It wasn't really something seen here usually. Probably a leftover from the war. But the Typhon's venom and blood. They had properties which could be a lot of fun to play with. Taking some vials out of her bag, she quickly took some of it?his? scales (why not?), fang & blood and packed it away.

She stepped over the body and continued picking her way through the overgrowth and general unkempt-ness of the castle grounds to the Entrance Hall. Brushing off her travelling robes, she rose an eyebrow at the rubble and doorless, oh! No. There they were! Lying against the walls. She shrugged and stepping through the rubble made her way up the stairs and into the hall. Looked worse up close than it did before! She thought to herself, feeling a sudden, unexpected pang of sadness.

She quickly shook it off. According to that ratty Hat there was stuff here that could help, but if there wasn't she was going to introduce that
Hat to a fiery furnace! She was taken from her daydream of burning Hat by the soft glow of the hourglasses. Did they have...crystals in the them? As in students were around, doing stuff to earn points before the place went to hell, crystals? And was that the smell of pancakes? She couldn't believe it! What was up with this place? This was ridiculous, she thought to herself, following the smell of freshly cooked pancakes until she stepped into the Great Hall. Her stomach growled. Hello pancakes!
